UC Santa Barbara's Summer Research Academics offer a dynamic summer experience that introduces qualified high school students to the research enterprises through project-based, directed search in STEM. Cindy Carbajal and Alexis Bravo-Lagunas from Santa Maria High School each earned a $7,914 scholarship to attend the summer program, scholarship sponsored by UCSB's Early Academic Outreach Program(EAOP) and UCSB's Office of Summer Sessions.
