CAASPP TESTING WEEK

April 15-19 is GO TIME CAASPP Testing week!

We have lots of fun events planned to get students ready for testing on April 15-19.
We will have prizes and giveaways. "Always try your best!"
Why is CAASPP  (California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress) testing important?
Right now, the CAASPP test is the only mandated test in California. California State Colleges use the test results to place students into entry-level classes. You will start in English and Math class if you score 3 Standard Met or 4 Standard Exceeded. If you score lower, you are required to participate in additional classes. So, giving your best effort could save you time and money in college.

Your laptops must be charged and ready to-go because everybody is testing their district-issued laptops. Please also remind students to turn off and back on tablets and then allow all updates to finish.

Seniors are recording senior shout-outs for their friends and family at graduation time. There will be a panorama picture in the football stadium, a sunrise breakfast, decorating stars for Prom, fun and games, food and daily gifts, and important graduation information meetings. Seniors who earned a 3 or 4 last year on CAASPP will receive special recognition. Details are coming soon.
