Progress Reports will reflect student grade (percentage/letter) as of March 13...
  1. Progress Reports will reflect student grade (percentage/letter) as of March 13. This is to make sure students and parents are informed of where the student's grade was at the closure, in order to make informed decisions about letter grade versus credit/no credit option.
  2. Students must choose the letter grade option by May 29, 2020.
  3. Grades will default to credit/no credit UNLESS students request a letter grade.
  4. This semester will not have an impact on the student's GPA on the SMJUHSD transcript. They will not have a GPA for this semester, nor will it have an impact on the 9-12, 10-12, Academic, or total GPA calculations that are reported by the SMJUHSD transcript.
  5. Students who choose letter grades must receive a letter grade that is the same or higher than the one reported on the progress report from March 13.
  6. Students may choose to change their mind from a letter grade to credit/no credit, but must do so by the deadline of May 29, 2020.
